The curated kitchen: board and blade

If you don’t know it by now, then let me make this clear: I have a thing for gorgeous cutting boards. And, if you are going to get a gorgeous board, heaven knows, you need a gorgeous blade to go with it. First up, the board: black walnut with a leather handle not only vegetable tanned in a dark coco bordeaux color, but also inset into the board so it will hang flush.
